The course will equip learners with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to successfully assess, plan, and execute basic implant cases, while also understanding the limitations and complexities involved.

    Objectives
Day 1 – Fundamentals of Implant Treatment Planning
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Understand the history and evolution of dental implants
Define key implant terminology, including osseointegration, implant dimensions, and surface characteristics
Compare implant types (bone vs. tissue level, screw vs. cement retained, platform switching)
Assess patient factors affecting implant success, including medical history, occlusion, periodontal stability, and bone quality
Evaluate alternative treatment options (endo, re-endo, apical surgery, bridges, dentures)
Apply SAC classification to assess case complexity
Develop a structured approach to implant treatment planning
